- What 3 learning goals you would like to achieve through the exercise, decide on the most important goal
- Develop a simple Mind Map, demonstrating how the central theme connects to sub-branches, explore the concept visually, try to be engaging and memorable, encourage creativity
- Use the Mind Map as a story board, a branch or sub-branch represents a new plot, or scene, again use colours and images. A simple Mind Map could be planning a travel, central topic; a trip to Japan, add branches, sub-branches; mode of transport, cities to visit, landmarks, food, culture, experiences gained, etc.
- Other simple Mind Maps may include; Art, Problem Solving, My Future, Learning a Language. Branches: vocabulary, grammar rules, cultural insights make use of images, audio clips or pronunciation guides to enhance the learning.
